So, here's most of the fanart I've done over the years. Most of it isn't very good, but I thought it would be nice to have it all in one place, for me as much as for anyone who's curious and wants to take a look.

I'm seeing my f-list gushing over the anniversary of Aladdin, so I just have to throw in my little contribution. I may not be as obsessed a fan as some others *cough Shiera and Sam cough*, but I owe that movie a lot as well. First, there's Iago, and I've loved him since I was... 12? I think. So it's been a while. :P Aaanyway, I've loved him because he's so entertaining and I could indentify with him quite a bit as well. Always thought he has a heart of gold (don't get me started again, Shiera ;) ), and I felt a sense of purpose in imagining that I could be a good friend to him and understand him. I think that's attracted me most of all - that I feel like he needs someone like that, and I could be that someone. But alas, he's fictional, so that could never be really fulfilled. However, here's the good news - it's thanks to Iago and the movie Aladdin that I found my best friend. A person who makes me feel happy and valuable, and this time, she's real. ;) We've known each other for almost three years now (happy early anniversary, Rebecca ;) ), and we've made it through so many ups and downs, I don't see how we could not spend the rest of our lives together in friendship (unless she gets rid of that idiot Jeremy and agrees to let me have the baby...).  So just like for Shiera and Sam, Aladdin has changed my life big time and set the directions for my future, and I owe it for that. Happy annivery everyone!

I've never had the desire to make several avatars in a row - until today. And here is the result.

don't know if this one works, though

You're Iago. Annoying and a loud mouth, you're just
too sarcsatic and cynical about everything. Not
to mention you're a bit of a coward. You really
don't know where your loyalties lay, do you?
But never fear, in the end, you side with the
good guys. But that reason's probably only
because it was in your best intrest...

Which Aladdin Character are you?

YAY! I thought I wouldn't get Iago because of the answers I ticked... it must be fate or something ;)

And here's the randomness.

Today was the first day of school after Easter break. Gah. Getting up at half past 6 in the morning is so hard, and it's even worse when you've been sitting at the computer till 2am for most of the week. I wonder who I can blame for that...

First two hours: Physics. Yawn. I've tried to draw some Iago and Sirena pictures, but it's really hard when you don't want your classmates to know about it, lol. Eventually, I had to show. They even recognizes Iago! Okay, they didn't know his name, but they did say "Hey, that's the parrot from that Disney movie... Aladdin!" That was more than I had expected.

Next two hours: Math. Bigger yawn. Continued drawing the picture, only stopping a few times to calculate something. I couldn't get Sirena's wing right! I wanted her to chuckle at a joke-pulling Iago, but it always looked as if she was yawning.

Next two hours: English. We wrote a test. Topic: Science and Technology. That's a boring topic, I tell ya. We got a short story or whatever from H.G. Wells, about some cholera germs. Had to answer a few questions, then write a text ourselves. We could choose from three topics. The first one was shitty, the second was about pros and cons of cloning and the third was creative writing - write your own ending to the story. Now I was torn between two and three - write a comment about a boring topic, but having enough arguments for both sides and knowing that I always get good grades for my comments, or writing a story? I sat there at last five minutes having an inner discussion with myself about it. Then I said "Heck, there's no turnng back, I gotta write that damn ending." I did that and now can't wait to see what the teacher thinks about it... I want an A in that test, I always get A's in English! Jas is sure to get a rant if I don't get an A because of my stupid creative side that didn't get to write a story in months.

Next on the timetable: Chemistry. Moan. Got to finish the drawing of the lovey dovey birds, though. Now I only need to send it to the clean-up department (managed by yours truly) and then to the coloring department (managed by moi), and then it's done! I didn't do that chuckle thing with Sirena, I ended up having her hold out her wing as if Iago is supposed to kiss it. Doesn't look that great either, but oh well. Maybe I change it again...

Last two hours: PE. Gag. We played some basket ball, which was actually pretty nice, but then we had to throw balls in certain parts of the goal. And then we had to do slalom with the ball. How exciting... NOT!

Now look at how much I wrote just for the sake of procrastinating French homework! I'm really good at this. ยง)
