dragonessa24Been tagged by imwithrebel for the 6 random things meme. It'll also serve nicely as an update on how I've been. I would post the rules for it if she had given them to me but now you have to do without them thanks to her. :P
1 - I enrolled in college today and as of October 1st I'll officially be an English major. Hopefully it won't be too hard and I'm sure I'll be fascinated by it. My parents helped me move a lot of my stuff down there today and I'll do the rest of the moving in the week of October 9th, because the week after that classes start. Wheee! If you want my new adress, let me know, or just send any stuff to my parents and I'll get it from there... eventually, lol. I doubt I'll be going home a lot - it's a long train ride and I'm glad I'm outta here!
2 - Last Friday I got my driver's license! I don't have a car and will be driving a bycicle around college, so I'll probably lose all my skills eventually, but I've got the piece of paper! Lol. I was very lucky during the driving test - at first, I went just fine and relaxed, but then I screwed up on a crossroad and from there I was being a little nervous, lol. Which caused me to frantically check every corner around me all the time though - Brownie points galore! He really could have let me fail because of the crossroad, but he was being nice. Thank you, driving person!
3 - I was missing Jas when I got home from college earlier because she was in classes with sucky internet, but now she's back! (hey, this is about random things...)
4 - Mom converted me to a Dead Zone and House fan. We're in the... fourth? season of Dead Zone now (Mom can watch and record them from some channel's website - we both prefer the English version anyway, lol), which isn't too great. But House is hilarious and German TV is showing the first season. I got into it about midseason, so I'm playing catch up now. Don't worry, Jas - Dr House is nowhere near the brilliance that is Dr McKay. ;)
5 - I'm in love with my laptop. It's a very good (and pretty expensive) model and I can take it anywhere. Here at home, I enjoy surfing in the comfort of my bed or watching eps long after my parents have gone to sleep (couldn't earlier because I have no headphones for the desktop). And today we could take it to Eichstaett and I've got nice W-Lan there.
6 - I'm teaching Jas math for elementary kids right now, but shhh or she'll get mad at me for letting you know. ;)
